Galaxy Note 4, the large smartphone that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung should make official on September 3 at the IFA 2014 tradeshow in Berlin, has already emerged online at a retailer in Indonesia, where all of its hardware specs have been revealed.

The next member of the Galaxy Note series of handsets has been long said to arrive on shelves with a Quad HD touchscreen display, and the aforementioned listing appears to confirm that.

The handset can now be seen on the website of Indonesian retailer erafone, although it hasn’t been officially announced as of now.

Given the fact that retailers usually receive info on new products before these are formally introduced to the world, it does not come too much as a surprise that said retailer has let details on Galaxy Note 4 slip online.

However, it remains to be seen whether the handset will indeed arrive on shelves with all of the hardware specs listed there at the moment.

According to the retailer, the mobile phone will be launched with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display capable of delivering the aforementioned Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution, at a 515ppi pixel density.

Moreover, the retailer lists the upcoming mobile phone in two versions, one with a 2.5GHz quad-core Krait 450 processor (SM-N910S), and the other with an octa-core chipset, featuring a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and a quad-core Cortex-A57 processor (SM-N910C).

According to the retailer, the handset should feature 4GB of RAM (which suggests that its processor will be a 64-bit one), along with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal memory, paired with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 should sport a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus, and dual-LED flash, which will be able to record videos in 4K resolution. A front camera for making video calls while on the go will also be included in the package.

Moreover, the handset should land on the market with the usual set of connectivity capabilities inside, such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and a built-in GPS receiver.

Interestingly enough, the retailer lists the new mobile phone as running under the Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system, despite the fact that previous reports on the matter suggested that it would run under Android 4.4.4.

As mentioned above, there’s no official confirmation on the smartphone yet. However, with the smartphone expected to go official in a few weeks, more on it should emerge sooner rather than later.
