While Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has already made its debut in lots of countries, the dual-SIM version hasn’t been launched anywhere until today.

Those hoping that Samsung will change its marketing policy and will release a dual-SIM model in many countries other than China will probably be disappointed to know that, at least for the moment, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

As per GSMArena’s report, Samsung has just introduced the dual-SIM version of Galaxy Note 4 in China. Those living in the Mainland will be able to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos soon for 5,400 yuan outright, which is about $880 or €700.

In fact, Samsung chose to launch no less than three Galaxy Note 4 Duos models in China and the SIM-free version has been priced at 5,400 yuan, as mentioned earlier.

The other two dual-SIM versions will be available for purchase through China Telecom and China Unicom carriers for prices that will be announced closer to release.

Potential customers should know that all three models pack LTE support on the first SIM, both TDD and FDD, and EDGE support on the second SIM.

However, the China Telecom version supports both EDGE and 3G CDMA connectivity on the first SIM, while the unlocked version of the Galaxy Note 4 Duos comes with support for all TDD LTE bands in China (including China Telecom and China Unicom).

The SIM-free version may be launched in other countries as well

Basically, the unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos that will sell in China will be compatible with all carriers in the Mainland, so keep that in mind before making your purchase.

We doubt Samsung will be making the dual-SIM version of Galaxy Note 4 available in other countries anytime soon, but considering the fact that the South Korean company has also introduced a SIM-free version of the smartphone, there’s actually a chance that it will make its debut in a few more Asian countries pretty soon.

India would be a good choice for the next country to receive the dual-SIM Galaxy Note 4 if Samsung decided to make it available internationally. The fact that it will offer dual-SIM capability and microSD card slot makes as a great selling point for the Indian market, among others.

Spec-wise, there aren’t any differences in terms of hardware between the single-SIM version and Galaxy Note 4 Duos, so those who want to know more about what they’ll get may want to check out our Samsung Galaxy Note 4 technical specification page.
