Good news for customers waiting for a bloatware-free version of Galaxy Note 4 to arrive in the United States, as Samsung silently confirmed the upcoming availability of the phablet.

As many Android fans already know, several handset makers have already launched Developer Edition variants of their flagship smartphones over the last couple of years.

The Galaxy Note 4 could not miss from the Developer Edition lineup and Samsung is likely to make it available in the next couple of weeks, or perhaps days.

As Droid-Life points out, the Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition has already been listed on Samsung's US official website, which means it won't be long until it will make its debut on the market.

But there's a catch. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition will only be available through major carrier Verizon Wireless. It even has the carrier's branding on the back, so there's no question about it.

The only question is whether or not Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition at other network operators in the United States as well.

Anyway, potential customers may want to know they will soon be able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition from Verizon for only $662.53 (€524) outright, which is about $30 (€23.7) cheaper than the standard version that's also up for sale at the Big Red.

The smartphone is only available in Charcoal Black and the price may not even be final, but we know for sure the Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition for Verizon will be “coming soon.”

The Developer Edition is slightly cheaper than the standard version at Verizon

Moving on to specs, aside from the fact that it won't pack any of the apps and services usually included by Samsung and Verizon devices, there aren't any differences between the Developer Edition and the standard model.

Keep in mind that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box.

The good news is that this particular model will be among the first to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade when Samsung and Verizon decide to release the update for Developer Edition devices.

Those who plan on purchasing the Galaxy Note 4 from Verizon Wireless may want to wait slightly longer and get the Developer Edition instead if they want a bloatware-free smartphone and quicker OS updates.

We'll be keeping an eye out for any additional details on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition's availability, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
