More pressure needs to be applied though

Now this is an interesting turn of events. Shortly after the iPhone 6 Plus became the laugh of the stock due to the fact that it seems to bend easier than other smartphones do, a new video that would make one of Apple’s main rivals hide its head in the sand has just been published online.

The video proves that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 bends almost exactly in the same spot as the iPhone 6 Plus. The same person that showed the world how easy the iPhone 6 bends, Lewis Hilsenteger from Unbox Therapy, has tested the Galaxy Note 4 at the request of Apple fanboys.

Unbox Therapy has tested durability of a huge number of smartphones, and at the top of the hierarchy sits another Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy Note 3.

Although the Galaxy Note 3 is entirely made of plastic, the phablet bends harder than any other smartphone available on the market and it returns to its initial form after it gets bent.

It looks like its successor, the Galaxy Note 4, did not do such a great job during a similar durability test. As you can see in the video below, the newest flagship smartphone from Samsung does bend after all.

The Galaxy Note 4 bends, but not nearly as severely as iPhone 6 Plus

As Hilsenteger points out, Samsung’s phablet bends in the same spot as the iPhone 6 Plus, but you need to apply a lot more pressure to be able to bend the Galaxy Note 4. Moreover, you can bend the Galaxy Note 4 back to its original form without any issues for its chassis.

This is a real surprise considering Samsung took several jabs at Apple during the #Bendgate and even released a few videos that supposed to demo how strong the Galaxy Note 4 is in comparison with other smartphones.

Obviously, all smartphones bend when a certain pressure is applied on them, so it’s interesting to see these tests made by real people and not robots.

We did expect the Galaxy Note 4 to bend if enough pressure were applied on it, but the fact that this information comes right after a number of videos that were supposed to show that Samsung’s phablet is very solid is hilarious.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the first phablet in the Note series that comes with a metal frame, which might be one of the reasons it remains bent. Of course, don’t try bending your smartphone at home just to prove yourself or your friends something.
