Owners of Exynos-based Galaxy Note 3 devices out there are currently starting to see a new software update being pushed to their handsets, in the form of a 30 MB download.

Unfortunately, this is not the Android 4.4 KitKat flavor that many might have been waiting for, but it comes as a stability upgrade for the large Android-based device.

The firmware update arrives on devices with build number N900XXUCMK2 attached, and it is already available for download to users in Russia, Thailand, and some other markets, a recent report from SamMobile unveils.

Unfortunately, all that Samsung shared about the new update is the fact that it packs the aforementioned stability improvements.

The new firmware is being rolled out in stages, which means that some users will receive it in a few days or more. To check on its availability, they can head over to Settings > About phone > Software updates, and hit the Check now button.
