The unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has just appeared in the UK and is now available for pre-order in both black and white color options.

The good news is that the phablet is available for a lot less than Samsung’s price tag of £650 ($1015 / €770) that was announced earlier today. UK-based retailer Clove UK is now offering the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for only £595 (€705 / $930) outright.

Although delivery costs have yet to be revealed, we don’t expect the final price to match the one announced by Samsung.

The bad news is that Clove does not have a release date for the smartphone yet, but the retailer has announced that it is now waiting for confirmation of the UK launch date.

The UK variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. It will also pack an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Samsung will also launch Galaxy Note 3 variant without LTE, which is likely to be powered by an octa-core processor (1.9 GHz Cortex A15 and 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7), but the rest of the specs will be similar.

This means that both versions will get either 32GB or 64GB of storage, along with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

It will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a new and improved S Pen, which will provide access to new apps and services.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 boasts a stunning 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and 386 ppi (pixel density).

Even so, if the screen is larger than the previous Galaxy Note model, the smartphone is not bigger but sleeker (8.3mm) and lighter (168g). More details on Galaxy Note 3’s specs sheet are available here.
