As expected, Samsung has just announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch in India.

The South Korean handset maker confirmed early this month at an IFA 2013 press conference that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would be available for purchase in more than 140 countries beginning September 25.

Luckily, India is one of the many countries that will get the Galaxy Note 3 next week. As AndroidOS points out, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be available for purchase starting September 25 for Rs 49,900 ($790/€560) off contract.

Customers who are anxiously waiting for the phablet to go on sale should know that Samsung and Vodafone have teamed up to offer 2GB of free 3G/2G data to all Galaxy Note 3 buyers for the next two months.

In addition, Samsung has confirmed that all Galaxy Note 3 buyers will also receive free content via Content Gifts inside Samsung apps. This offer will go live beginning October 1 and includes apps, games and services, such as Bloomberg, Bitcasa, Angry Birds Star Wars 2 and more.

The Indian version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be equipped with a Samsung Exynos octa-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz, as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Furthermore, Samsung India has stated that the phablet will also come pre-installed with support for 11 regional languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya and Assamese.

The phone’s 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display supports full HD (1080p) resolution and 386 ppi (pixel density).

The Galaxy Note 3 boasts an improved 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

Keep in mind that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will ship with an improved S-Pen and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
