The smartphone will start shipping on October 1, the carrier announced

Starting today, T-Mobile’s customers in the United States can pre-order the latest Android-based smartphone from Samsung, namely the Galaxy Note 3.

The new device is up for reservations on the wireless carrier’s website with a price tag of $199.99 (€150) attached to it on contract, with $21 (€16) per month repayments for 24 months.

Those who would like to grab it contract-free will have to pay $703.99 (€527) for it. The smartphone will start shipping on October 1, the carrier also announced.

Galaxy Note 3 was made official on September 4 during the IFA 2013 conference in Berlin, and is set to arrive on the market in various countries around the world later this month.

The handset comes with a 5.7-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside.

The new mobile phone also sports 3GB of RAM inside, along with 32GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

Samsung packed the new device with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, as well as with a front camera for making video calls.

The specifications list of Galaxy Note 3 also includes support for 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and built-in GPS receiver. It sports DLNA, and NFC too, along with Wi-Fi Calling capabilities.

The handset also arrives on shelves with the usual set of sensors packed inside, as well as with a Li-Ion 3200mAh battery.

Furthermore, it runs under Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, with a variety of exclusive Samsung applications and features loaded on top, such as S-Voice, Air gestures, Samsung Media Hub, Voice memo, and more.

At Magenta, it also arrives with T-Mobile TV right from the start, Visual Voicemail, and M3 & T3 rating for hearing aid compatibility.
