The smartphone might be unveiled next month at MWC 2014

There's no doubt Samsung plans to launch a lighter version of the Galaxy Note 3. Lots of rumors and leaks indicate the South Korean company readies a new smartphone dubbed Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which is likely to go official next month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014.

Well, it appears that the device has just been spotted by the folks over at Blog of Mobile at FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which means it's real and almost ready to make it's debut on the market.

According to the documents filed at FCC, the smartphone's codename is Samsung SM-N7505 and is confirmed to pack LTE band 5, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, as well as WCDMA 850 / 1900MHz.

Rumor has it Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be the first smartphone to feature a hexa-core processor. The device is also said to boast a 5.55-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with HD (720p) resolution, 2GB of RAM and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.
