14 DAY TRIAL // We reported yesterday that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo would be available for purchase in Germany for €530 ($715) outright, and now it appears that the phablet has just landed in Indonesia.
GSMArena reports major retailer Indikom currently offers the Galaxy Note 3 Neo for around $555 (€415) off contract, which puts it close to the European price tag.
Unfortunately, there’s no telling which version of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo Indikom is offering at the moment, as Samsung announced the devices would be available in both 3G and LTE+ models.
It’s also worth mentioning that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has been confirmed to arrive in both single-SIM and dual-SIM version. Given that Indonesia is an emerging market, we suspect Samsung launched the dual-SIM model in the country but this has yet to be confirmed.
Apart from the fact that it provides LTE Cat4 connectivity, the LTE+ version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is equipped with a hexa-core Exynos 5260 chipset that accommodates a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor and a dual-core Cortex-A15 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz.
The dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo has been confirmed to pack a quad-core processor. There’s a high chance that this is the model available for purchase in Indonesia, but take it with a grain of salt until Indikom confirms it.
All in all, regardless of which version it is, each Galaxy Note 3 Neo sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.
In addition, the smartphone packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.
There’s also an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is expected to arrive in other Asian countries as well, but pricing options may vary greatly. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
