Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 3 smartphone is getting closer to becoming available for purchase in the United States, as it has already received approvals from the FCC.

Two different versions of the mobile phone were spotted at the feds, one featuring support for AT&T’s network, and the other with Sprint connectivity inside.

The first model, SM-N900A, was approved with support for AT&T's GSM, HSPA and LTE networks. It should become available at the carrier on October 1.

As for the second device variant, the SM-N900R4, it should be released on Sprint’s LTE / CDMA networks, while also packing support for the frequencies of operators such as US Cellular and others, Engadget reports.

Galaxy Note 3 was made official last week with a 5.7-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 800 processor inside, and 3GB of RAM. It also features a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and front camera for video calling.
