Lately there has been a lot of buzz around a purported Samsung 12.2-inch tablet. The device has been spotted at Bluetooth SIG getting a second Bluetooth certification.

Soon afterwards, the AnTuTu Benchmark site leaked the tablet’s specifications showcasing Samsung is on high horses when it comes to this model.

Some benchmark results were also posted, demonstrating that even with its huge display of 12.2-inch the tablet performed better than the Galaxy Note 3, a slate with a smaller screen but featuring the same CPU configuration.

So far we have seen the tablet appear under various model names like SM-P905, SM-P00, SM-P901 and SM-P905V. Now the SM-P905 version appeared to have passed through the FCC. The filing reveals a sketch of the device with 14.1-inch diagonal so it might be safe to assume that this is the 12.2-inch tablet we have been talking about.

More than that, it appears the 12-incher is in fact a larger version of the Galaxy Note 10.1, because in the FCC image, we can spot an S pen slot, along with 802.11ac and Wi-Fi.

Other specifications might include 1600 x 2560 pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM plus 32GB of internal storage.

The device is expected to be unveiled somewhere in 2014.
