Lately, there have been a lot of rumors relating to the fact that Samsung is working on a 12.2-inch tablet. We have seen its impressive specifications leak and the slate was spotted going through the FCC and getting a second Bluetooth SIG certification.

The latest information regarding the slate was made available by DigiTimes. According to their sources, the Korean giant is gearing up to start production of the device and it will be ready to do so by the end of year.

Now, TrustedReviews reports a tip according to which the oversized slate will be making its debut to the public during the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain in February.

Even if the CES 2014 in Las Vegas represents the biggest and most popular annual tech show, the company is believed to be holding off for the February unveiling.

Gathering all rumors, the Samsung 12.2-inch slate will probably come with a beautiful 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution display and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM.

Two cameras are going to be available (the 8MP rear one and the 2MP frontal one) plus 32GB of internal storage.

Also, we’re probably going to see a stylus with the device, so it appears Samsung plans to include it into the Note family. It’s likely going to sport Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
