There is a new tablet that people may want to look at, especially if they live the lives of businessmen, students and designers, to name a few.

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Note 10.1, powered by a dual-core CPU with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz.

The display of 10.1 inches in diagonal features a native resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels, but the real asset is the S-Pen input.

With a stylus that resembles a regular pen quite closely, owners can create their own content: writing, drawings/sketches, etc.

There is even an eraser at the back of the so-called pen, and Samsung even implemented a multi-screen feature.

Through it, the display is divided into sections, letting people display content on one side while taking notes on the other.

“GALAXY Note 10.1 takes productivity on a Note to a whole new level,” said JK Shin, president of IT and mobile communications division at Samsung Electronics.

“With a larger, fully utilizable screen and superior performance, it combines the intuitiveness of handwriting with all the versatility of digital content to let users be more productive across all of life’s demanding tasks-whether working, learning, or simply creating their own stories.”

In addition to the processor (whatever its name is) and the screen, Samsung threw in 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of integrated NAND Flash storage, HSPA+ 21Mbps support, a 3-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi, plus a 7,000mAh battery.

Finally, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is present, along with S-Pen optimized Adobe Photoshop Touch and Ideas apps. No prices mentioned yet, though.

“With GALAXY Note 10.1 we are demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to extend the mobile category and are working with key partners like Adobe to provide extraordinary experiences for users that enable them to be more productive, express themselves creatively and add a touch of fulfillment to their lives.”
