We didn't really expect to write about this product so soon after discovering that it is shipping prematurely, but Samsung gave us enough of a reason.
The company
revealed that it would hold a special launch event on August 15, 2012.
The “major” Galaxy launch can mean a number of different things of course, but it's already past the time when the new Galaxy Note 10.1 came out. After all, the quad-core tablet is supposedly
already shipping.
That said, the company may very well launch multiple things at once, provided it doesn't wait for IFA 2012 (August 31-September 5).
Regardless, an S-Pen will make its appearance alongside whatever slates get unveiled. We'll be sure to post a follow-up on the matter then, or during the aforementioned IFA event in Berlin, where we'll have a chance to get close and personal with all the new toys.
