Samsung has already brought its Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition slate to markets in the UK or the US. Now it’s time that Aussie consumers get the same treatment

The larger Sammy slate is now officially available in the country from the company’s Experience Stores in Sydney and Melbourne. The good news is that both models, the Wi-Fi one and the 4G can be grabbed, in either white or black coloring, Ausdroid reports.

Marketing Director for Samsung in Australia made the official announcement saying that “the latest Galaxy note 10.1 2014 Edition represents a fantastic combination of stylish design and impressing engineering, all available in an ultra-thin device. What really sets this product apart is the enhanced functionality of the S Pen and the great multitasking ability it can offer users.”

“Combined with a fantastic screen for an amazing multimedia experience, it is one of our most innovative tablets launched in Australia to date.”

The Wi-Fi only model has been priced at AUD$649 / $593 / €439 while the Wi-Fi and 4G model costs a little bit more, AUD$799 / $731 / €540.

As a quick memory refresh, the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition comes sporting a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. The slate draws power from a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Photography lovers will discover two cameras onboard (an 8MP one on the back and a 2MP one in front) plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. Samsung has added a massive 8,220 mAh battery inside, so you can be sure power won’t run out while you’re in the middle of things.

Because this device is part of the Galaxy Note family, it offers S Pen support. Users will also find that they will be able to tap into other unique software features such as Air View, Air Command, Smart Scroll, Multi Windows and others.
