Sprint customers received only good news in the last few days. Shortly after Samsung announced that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update was rolling out for Sprint Galaxy S4, the South Korean company confirmed that another handset would get the same treatment, Galaxy Nexus.

The announcement coincides with the Nexus 5 official reveal, but it does not seem to be related in any way.

In fact, Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners should know that this is the last major software update they will get, as Google confirmed it would not offer an Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade for this particular model.

Nevertheless, Sprint has just posted an incomplete changelog on its support site, which states that software update GJ04 for Samsung Galaxy Nexus contains the long awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

In addition, the carrier mentions the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Nexus is pushed OTA (over-the-air) in stages, over a period of 10-21 days.
