The first rumors on the Galaxy Music and Galaxy Music DUOS emerged about two weeks ago. Today, Samsung officially announced the upcoming availability of both Android smartphones.

Although the South Korean handset maker does not offer any details on the phones’ price tag and availability, we expect the Samsung Galaxy Music DUOS to hit the shelves a few weeks after the single-SIM model goes on sale.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Music is “a smartphone that offers superb sound quality and superb music player features.”

In this regard, the device features dual frontal stereo speakers that promise an enhanced sound quality, which is further improved by FM radio and advanced audio features such as Sound Alive & SRS.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy Music features a dedicated Music key that allows users to quickly and conveniently access the music player while on the go.

Samsung Galaxy Music is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and packs 512MB of RAM.

The processor that powers the smartphone is still a mystery for the moment, but Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Music features 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the Galaxy Music sports a mediocre 3-megapixel photo snapper with fixed focus, but without LED flash. The phone’s 3.0-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

The latest device in the Galaxy series promises blazing fast download speed, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, allowing users to experience seamless music and multimedia apps on the move.

Samsung Galaxy Music drains energy from a 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. As we already mentioned, Samsung plans to launch a dual-SIM version in the form of the GALAXY Music Duos.
