We reported one week ago that Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 had received FCC’s approval in the United States, but the smartphone did not feature any LTE support.

Today, the folks over at Engadget report that another version of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has been spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and this time, it comes with LTE technology.

The bad news is that this model supports LTE band 5 (850MHz), which makes it unusable in the United States, hence it’s highly unlikely to be launched in this country.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is expected to arrive on the market next month with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

The smartphone has been confirmed to pack a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8/16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (64GB).

However, the phone’s main selling point is the huge 6.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution.
