Yesterday, wireless carrier T-Mobile made official yet another Samsung smartphone for its users, in the form of Galaxy Light, a device spotted online a few times before.

The new handset is set to become available at the carrier in a matter of weeks, packing support for the 4G LTE networks, T-Mobile announced, according to TmoNews.

The operator did not unveil too many details on the mobile phone, but it did say that Galaxy Light featured a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel camera on the back.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz processor and features 1GB of RAM, along with 8GB of internal memory. It also sports a microSD memory card slot, an 1800 mAh battery, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.

Unfortunately, the company did not provide specific info on the release date and pricing of the new mobile phone, though it should offer these details in the not too distant future.
