Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a handset that can also deliver appealing camera capabilities can now grab the Samsung Galaxy K zoom, which has landed at eBay with a price tag of $450 (€329) attached to it.

Made official earlier this year, the mobile phone has already arrived on shelves in some countries out there, such as Germany, but it has yet to enjoy global availability, it seems.

The United States is the latest market to have received it, but others will get it as well in the near future, including India, where the phone has been officially announced recently.

In addition to eBay, Amazon has also started selling the phone in the US, though with a much higher price tag attached to it at the moment, namely $533 (€390).

However, we should note that eBay has launched it as part of its Daily Deals, which explains why the phone is available there with a $100 (€73) discount from its actual price tag.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Galaxy K zoom was made official with a 4.8-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution.

Moreover, the smartphone was announced with a hexa-core Exynos 5 Hexa 5260 chipset inside, which includes a 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex-A15 processor and a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU.

Samsung Galaxy K zoom also sports 2GB of RAM inside, as well as 8GB of internal memory, which is complemented by a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

The main selling point of this device, however, is its 20.7-megapixel camera on the back, which sports a 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor, and which can deliver 10x optical zoom capabilities.

Moreover, the handset’s camera sports Xenon flash and optical image stabilization, and can provide users with a great imaging experience, with 28 shooting modes, and a new camera UI, similar to that available on the Galaxy S5, as SamMobile points out.

The mobile phone also includes a 2.1MP camera on the front, which will allow users to easily make video calls and take selfies while on the go.

Samsung Galaxy K zoom is powered by a 2430mAh battery, runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, and sports the entire range of usual connectivity capabilities, including HSPA+ (42 Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and built-in GPS receiver.

For some people, the Galaxy K zoom might seem as a bulky phone, but it will certainly prove a great option for those interested in its camera capabilities.
