Word about Samsung Galaxy J series new smartphones emerged about two months ago, when specs for two unannounced handsets leaked online.

The Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J7 are expected to be the next smartphones to be launched in the Galaxy J series. Although we don't have any details on their pricing options and availability, it looks like at least one retailer plans to sell the Galaxy J7 soon.

Samsung Galaxy J7 was spotted a while ago at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, but now the smartphone has been listed on an online retailer's store in Russia, SamMobile reports.

The good news is that we have both the specs and the price tag for which the smartphone is likely to be available on the market.

However, keep in mind that smartphones are a bit overpriced in Russia, so we expect the Galaxy J7 to go a bit cheaper than what's reported.

That being said, customers in Russia will be able to purchase the Galaxy J7 for 49,990 rubles, the equivalent of about $890 (€800), which is quite huge, considering its specs.

Marvel chipset and 13MP main camera

Moving on to specs, the smartphone is confirmed to pack a 1.2GHz octa-core Marvel PXA1936 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

The smartphone will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and will sport a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

We also know Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.

Last but not least, the Galaxy J7 will be powered by a large 3,000 mAh battery, which seems to be removable.

While we don't have an exact release date for Samsung Galaxy J7, given the recent leaks we expect the smartphone to go official in the coming weeks.
