Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has been tipped to arrive in India this week and it looks like several online retailers have just started take orders for the affordable smartphone.

Gizbot reports the Galaxy Grand Neo has been initially priced at Rs 20,000 ($320 / €235) outright, but major retailers across the country are now selling the device for as low as Rs 18,190 ($295 / €215).

Also known as Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite, the smartphone has been especially designed for the Indian market, so expect it to come with specific features such as dual-SIM and support for multiple languages.

Speaking of which, Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy Grand Neo features dual-SIM with dual standby support, allowing users to fit in two mini-SIM cards at the same time.

Aside from the dual-SIM support and rather decent price, the Galaxy Grand Neo sports a large 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a rather low 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

On the back, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

Hardware wise, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo comes equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core BCM23550 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Luckily, users will be able to deal with the limited amount of internal memory by adding more storage via microSD memory card.

The Galaxy Grand Neo is powered by a 2100 battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 430 hours of standby time or up to 11 hours of talk time.

It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, along with Google’s full suite of services and apps.

Other highlights of the Galaxy Grand Neo include HSPA (21Mbps), HSUPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
