The light version Samsung Galaxy Grand had its fair share of rumors in the last couple of weeks, but the South Korean company is still mum on the release of the smartphone.

However, it looks like at least one European retailer is now selling the Galaxy Grand Lite, even though Samsung has yet to officially introduce the handset.

SamMobile reports that Dutch blog site GSMInfo has spotted the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite at Belsimpel retailer, where customers can purchase it for only €260 ($355) outright.

The Dutch retailer even offers the smartphone for free on select plans, but that shouldn’t be surprising given its off-contract price tag.

According to the specs listed by Belsimpel, Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. The smartphone measures 144x78x10 mm, but no info on weight has been provided.

The phone’s main selling point should be the large 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, though customers may want to think twice before getting the Galaxy Grand Lite, as the smartphone’s screen only supports 800 x 480 pixels resolution.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Grand Lite is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and packs 1GB of RAM, as well as 8GB of internal memory. Users will also be able to expand storage up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

It is also worth mentioning that the Galaxy Grand Lite is powered by a 2100 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

Other highlights of the smartphone include HSDPA (21Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
