It looks like Samsung has just made the Galaxy Grand 2 available in India. We have reported earlier today that the handset maker confirmed the smartphone’s price, but did not offer any details on release date.

Well, it only took Samsung a few hours to put the Galaxy Grand 2 on sale. As expected, customers can purchase the smartphone for just Rs 22,999 ($375 / €275) off contract.

The smartphone ships with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It also comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 offers dual-SIM support and a more than decent 5.25-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. An 8-megapixel rear-facing camera is included as well, along with 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
