The handset packs a 3.8-inch screen, a dual-core processor

Starting today, T-Mobile’s customers in the United States can purchase a new Android-based smartphone on the network of their wireless carrier, namely the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit, which is the operator’s flavor of the Galaxy S III Mini.

The handset features a price tag of $19.99 (€15.4) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement, and with $9 per month repayments for the length of the contract, for a total of $235.99 (€182).

“With the stylish Samsung Galaxy Exhibit you get the full Android experience, plus an easy way to stay connected and entertained on the go,” T-Mobile notes on its website.

The mobile phone packs a 1GHz dual-core STE U8420 processor inside, as well as a 3.8-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

Furthermore, it sports 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The specifications list of this smartphone also includes support for T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi Calling, T-Mobile TV, visual voicemail, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors.

On the back, the new mobile phone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with support for HD video recording. The handset also packs a 1Mp front camera to enable users to make video calls while on the go.

T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Exhibit runs under Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and offers access to thousands of movies and shows through the Samsung Media Hub.
