Samsung China has just announced the upcoming availability of the Galaxy DUOS (GT-I8262) Android smartphone. Specially designed for the Chinese market, this handset will not be released in other countries.
No word on the phone’s pricing options yet, but the guys over at
SamMobile report that the GT-I8262 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
In addition, the smartphone sports a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as 5-megapixel rear camera.
On the inside, the
Galaxy DUOS packs a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
Samsung Galaxy DUOS (GT-I8262) offers dual-SIM capability, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, as well as GPS with A-GPS and 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery.
