Samsung Galaxy Camera Arrives at Verizon

Verizon Wireless customers can now purchase a new Samsung device running under Google’s Android operating system on their carrier’s network, namely the Samsung Galaxy Camera.

Announced a few days ago, the device can be seen listed on Verizon’s website with a price tag of $549.99 (€417) attached to it, with month-to-month service.

Packing a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, the Galaxy Camera also sports a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD Screen, as well as a 1650mAh battery packed inside.

The new device comes with a 16-megapixel sensor, Xenon Flash and F5.9 lens, as well as with Optical Image Stabilization. It features 8GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of external storage space.

It also sports Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on it.
