Wireless services provider US Cellular is expected to make available for purchase on its network a new Android-based handset in the not too distant future, and the device has already been spotted online.

Dubbed Samsung Galaxy Axiom (model SCH-R830), the handset is said to boast a 4-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a WVGA resolution, while packing a 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8960 processor inside.

The smartphone is also said to arrive on shelves with support for 4G LTE connectivity, while being powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

There is also a photo with the handset available for your viewing pleasure, courtesy of evleaks, but no official confirmation on the device has been provided as of now, so we’ll take the above info with a grain of salt for the time being.
