Samsung introduced the Galaxy Ace NXT and Galaxy Star 2 last month, but the South Korean company did not confirm when exactly these smartphones would be available for purchase or how much they would cost.

However, we reported at the time that at least one Indian retailer would sell the Galaxy Ace NXT for Rs 7,399 ($125 / €90) outright. Mahesh Telecom confirmed that it would have the budget-friendly smartphone for sale soon, but Galaxy Ace NXT has yet to make its debut in India.

Well, it looks like Android fans in the country won’t have to wait too long to be able to grab either of the two entry-levels smartphones, as MakTechblog reports that both Galaxy Ace NXT and Galaxy Star 2 Plus are now listed on Samsung’s official webstore.

Even though the Galaxy Ace NXT and Galaxy Star 2 Plus seem to be out of stock for the moment, at least we now know what to expect when it comes to price.

It appears that both smartphones have been priced similarly, so customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy Ace NXT and Galaxy Star 2 Plus for Rs 7,335 ($120 / €90), which is not far from the initial upfront price mentioned earlier last month by Indian retailer Mahesh Telecom.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling when exactly the smartphones will be available for purchase, but the fact that they have already been priced by Samsung India is a clear indication that it shouldn’t take too long for the South Korean handset maker to put them on sale.

The bad news is that Samsung will sell an improved version of the Galaxy Star 2, which is why the smartphone is called Galaxy Star 2 Plus. Unlike the standard model announced last month, which packs a small, 3.5-inch display, the Plus variant sports a larger 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Ace NXT features a slightly smaller, 4-inch display that supports the same WVGA resolution. Still, both smartphones are powered by the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box and pack 512MB of RAM.

They are also armed with 1.2GHz single-core Spreadtrum Dolphin processors and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

It’s also worth mentioning that both entry-level smartphones are equipped with 3-megapixel main cameras, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as GPS with A-GPS.

Keep in mind that, while Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT drains energy from a 1500 mAh battery, the Galaxy Star 2 Plus is powered by a slightly better 1800 mAh removable battery.
