Samsung trademarked dozens of names earlier this year, but none of the names filed has showed up on the market yet. However, a new device using one of these names has just surfaced online.

The folks over at Droid-Life have learned that a mysterious Samsung Galaxy Stellar has been included in Verizon’s rebate forms. This usually means that the phone that is about to go on sale is not that important for Samsung to set up special launch event.

For the time being, we can only assume that the Galaxy Stellar is a mid-range Android smartphone, which will probably be available for purchase from Verizon Wireless in the following weeks.

While we don’t have any information on the phone’s specs sheet, pricing options or availability, we do know that Samsung trademarked for the Galaxy Stellar name back in March. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
