Starting today, users in the United States can pre-order the Samsung GALAXY S4 smartphone on US Cellular’s network, just as the carrier confirmed officially several weeks ago.

The smartphone can be seen on this page on the operator’s website in Black and White flavors, with a price tag of $199.99 (152 Euro) attached to it, on a monthly contract.

Users who would like to grab the device without the signing of an agreement with the wireless carrier will have to get $749.99 (571 Euro) out of their pockets for it.

According to US Cellular, although it can be reserved today, GALAXY S4 won’t ship to customers for the next 4 weeks.

“This device is scheduled to ship approximately 4 weeks from pre-order start date (April 16, 2013). Customer's credit card will be charged within 72 hours of customer placing the order,” the carrier explains.

“In certain areas of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, customer credit cards will not be charged until device is shipped. In the event of a backorder, customer orders will be shipped in the order they were received,” US Cellular also explains.

GALAXY S4 arrives at this wireless services provider with support for its 4G LTE network, and sports the same hardware features as in other markets around the world, it seems.

Thus, users will enjoy a 5-inch full HD screen on the front, along with the performance capabilities of its quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM.

The handset also features a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, front camera for making video calls, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.

Samsung GALAXY S4 enables true connections with the people in our lives. It is more than a personal device that can be enjoyed by one user - it makes the most of our relationships allowing us to easily share and experience many of life's pleasures together with family and friends, wherever you are,” the carrier notes.
