Sprint and Samsung have just released a new update for Galaxy S III, which is meant to fix some minor issues. After rolling out a security patch update a few weeks ago, Samsung is now trying to improve the phone even further.

Those who own the Sprint Galaxy S III should know that this is a maintenance update that brings some miscellaneous bug fixes, which have yet to be detailed.

Furthermore, Sprint has confirmed that the Voicemail application has been updated, though we don’t have any additional details on this one.

Last but not least, SMS 3-digit support has been included in this update and is now available for Sprint Galaxy S III owners.

According to Sprint, the rollout of the update is set to kick off today. We can safely assume that it will be pushed OTA (over the air), in stages.
