Unveiled yesterday, the mini version of the highly-acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone is now available for pre-order in the UK.

As with all smartphones that go on sale in the UK, the Galaxy S III Mini will be available for free on 24 month plans from £25 monthly.

Customers who wish to grab the smartphone for free can choose to commit to a new agreement with Vodafone, Orange and O2. Check it out here.

UK-based retailer Phones 4U also offers a Samsung S Pebble MP3 player as a gift to the first 350 customers who pre-order the Galaxy S III Mini.

According to Phones 4U, Samsung Galaxy S III Mini will go on sale on November 2, though the phone’s release date is subject to change, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.

The Galaxy S III Mini will be shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, unlike the original Galaxy S III that still runs Ice Cream Sandwich platform.

The phone is powered by a dual-core NovaThor U8420 clocked at 1 GHz, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM.

Unfortunately, the retailer does not mention the amount of storage, but Samsung confirmed the smartphone will pack either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory, depending on region.

We know for sure Samsung Galaxy S III Mini sports a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports only 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

There’s also a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, as well as a secondary VGA camera for video calls in the front.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S III Mini offers HSDPA (14.4Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps), as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC (Near Field Communication) and GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS.
