Samsung GALAXY S III Headed to MetroPCS

The Galaxy S III already made rounds at various major carriers in the United States. However, MetroPCS has yet to launch Samsung's latest Android flagship smartphone.

The folks over at PhoneScoop report that MetroPCS unveiled during a presentation in New York, four upcoming smartphones that will hit shelves by the end of the year.

Among these four devices MetroPCS reveled the Samsung Galaxy S III, though the carrier did not mention any details on the smartphone's exact release date.

Aside Galaxy S III, MetroPCS will launch another much smaller Galaxy device, along with a ZTE and a Coolpad smartphones. The latter is a 4.3-inch handset powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

According to the latest hearsay, the Coolpad will be available for $149 USD outright. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
