Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE has been recently launched in Canada through major carrier Bell, which might have a limited exclusivity over the smartphone.

However, the device has just appeared on SaskTel’s site with a “Coming Soon” tag attached on it. Although the regional carrier does not provide additional detail on the smartphone’s availability, at least customers are informed on its pricing options.

SaskTel customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy S II HD LTE, when it becomes available, for as low as $129.99 CAD with a new three-year agreement.

Those who do not want to commit to a long-term contract will have to come up with no less than $569.99 CAD upfront in order to buy this high-end device.

Additional pricing options include: $469.99 CAD with a new two-year contract and $519.99 CAD on a one-year term.

The carrier also notes that LTE speeds (100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload) will be available for Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE users the moment it launches its LTE network sometime during the fall of 2012.

Until SaskTel kicks off its LTE services in the following months, customers who purchase the Galaxy S II HD LTE will be throttled down to 4G HSPA+ speeds.

Bell Galaxy S II HD LTE is currently shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but SaskTel’s variant might be delivered with Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box.

Samsung Canada announced earlier this week Android 4.0 ICS will be gradually rolled out in the country to several Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S II HD LTE.

Although the company did not reveal any details on the schedule, we expect the update to reach all confirmed ICS-upgradeable devices by the end of the month. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
