The first rumors on the Galaxy S 4 mini emerged several weeks ago, but Samsung is still mum on the unannounced smartphone.

The first live picture of the devices leaked last month, along with some of its specs. However, given the fact these rumors have yet to be confirmed, we can’t say for sure what the phone will look like when it goes official.

According to the latest hearsay, Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini will be announced sometime in May and will go on sale the next month.

SamMobile reports that Samsung plans to launch two versions of the phone, a single SIM model and a dual-SIM variant.

They will also have slightly different specs, as the single SIM Galaxy S 4 will be equipped with a quad-core processor, while the dual-SIM version will pack a dual-core CPU.

More proof that Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini is real and that it might be announced pretty soon has just emerged via Samsung’s UAPROF site.

The folks over at Techtastic.nl have just discovered in Samsung’s user agent source code the name of the Galaxy S 4 mini, GT-I9190. This is the codename of the single SIM version, while the dual-SIM model is known as GT-I9192.

Keep in mind that there will be a third version of Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini, which will feature LTE support. This one is known as GT-I9195 and will feature single SIM support.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and will pack 8GB / 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The phone is also rumored to sport a 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as dual cameras (8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2-megapixel front-facing photo snapper).
