Samsung recently announced that its upcoming Galaxy S 4 would be available in two versions with different chipsets.

The Qualcomm-based model will be available in markets where LTE services are available, while the Exynos-powered Galaxy S 4 will launched markets without 4G networks.

In fact, it’s not totally clear where exactly the latter version of Galaxy S 4 will be available but Samsung confirmed around 70% of units will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chipset featuring a quad-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz.

Well, it appears that Samsung is planning to release a mini version of the Galaxy S 4, which will be available on the market sometime in June/July.

The first live pictures of the Galaxy S 4 mini leaked over the weekend, along with some of the smartphone’s specs.

Well, there’s a new rumor running around these days, which claims the Galaxy S 4 mini will be powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 5210 chipset.

According to SamMobile, the Exynos 5210 chipset will accommodate two dual-core processors, a Cortex-A15 CPU and a Cortex-A7.

Rumor has it that this chipset will feature ARM’s big.LITTLE technology in a quad-core structure, but this information has yet to be confirmed.

Given the fact that Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be equipped with the Exynos 5410 chipset, which packs two quad-core processors, it’s very possible that Exynos 5210 will accommodate two dual-core CPUs.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini will sport a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution and 256ppi.

Just like its big brother, the phone will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, integrated with TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0.

Word is a dual-SIM version of Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini will be launched on the market as well. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
