Virgin Mobile USA customers that still own the Samsung Galaxy Reverb will be happy to know that the carrier is now offering an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean upgrade.

Although Samsung reaffirmed its commitment to Jelly Bean upgrade for its older smartphones, this was kind of unexpected.

The latest information on Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy Reverb emerged a few days ago when it was anonymously confirmed by a Virgin Mobile representative who claimed that the update would be rolled out on May 22.

However, lots of Samsung Galaxy Reverb owners have already started to report they have received the long-expected Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.

The upgrade has also been confirmed by Samsung USA as well, but keep in mind that the update is rolled out in stages, so not all Galaxy Reverb owners will receive it at the same time.
