Samsung G600 just hit the Romanian market, along with its 5 megapixel camera power. The device is one of the slimmest coming from this producer, but also a highly powerful one and is already available on several markets around the world.

The phone has been announced this summer and is one of the few handsets that are equipped with a 5-megapixel camera. It also includes autofocus, image stabiliser and Flash, all to make its captures look as close as possible to what dedicated digital cameras are capable of bringing.

At 14.8 mm thick, Samsung G600 proves to be one of the slimmest slider phones out there and it's even more impressive to see that in the compact case there are some advanced performances. This is a camera phone above all and looks to impress by leaving aside some other aspects. The PictBridge and BT Printing option make it possible to print pictures shot with the handset's camera.

One of the disadvantages that Samsung G600 comes with is that of 3G technology. It has to offer only GPRS and EDGE Class 10, with transfer speeds of up to 136 kbps. That's pretty low, but should be enough for posting personal images on blogs or for emails, although it might feel rather tedious to download videos or any larger files.

Samsung G600 uses the Espresso interface, which should make it possible for the user to customize the phone's menu. There is also TV out included, as to watch personal captures on the large screen of a TV set. Moreover, the phone also completes its 50MB of internal memory with a microSD card slot. Other than that, connectivity is available through Bluetooth and USB.

Samsung G600 will be available from now on in Romania as well, although the distributor said nothing about its price.
