Wireless carrier AT&T has just cut the price tag for two of the Windows Phone 7 devices it has on sale for its customers, namely Samsung Focus and LG Quantum, both of which can be purchased from the company's website for only $99.99 now.

The two handsets were made available for purchase in the United States back in November, when the Windows Phone 7 OS from Microsoft hit shelves in the country, and have seen their price tags lowered before, via special promotions from the carrier.

As usual, those who would like to take advantage of the new $99.99 cost for these Windows Phone 7 devices would have to commit to a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier. Both handsets enjoy free activation and shipping.

In case there are some of you who did not encounter Windows Phone 7 before, they should know that the new platform from Microsoft comes with a brand new interface, as well as with integration with various services from the company, including Xbox LIVE, Bing search, and Zune.

Everything on Windows Phone 7's homescreen is organized in live tiles, offering users the possibility to access the latest info at a glance.

When it comes to the specs list of each of the two handsets, we should note that Samsung Focus sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display that would deliver a WVGA resolution.

The mobile phone also comes with a 5 MP camera with auto focus and LED flash, 8 GB of internal memory, 3G connectivity, FM Radio, the whole range of sensors, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity options.

The Samsung Focus includes a 1500 mAh battery that can offer up to 6.5 hours of talk time or up to 10.4 days of standby time.

As for the LG Quantum, it comes to the market with a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, complemented by a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The phone further includes a 5.0 megapixels photo snapper, as well as 16 GB of internal memory, support for 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 1500 mAh battery inside.

Those of you interested in the purchase of either of these two handsets should heat to the wireless carrier's website here (via WMPoweruser).
