A new patent proves the company intends to make a slate with a bendable screen

I've heard of bendable and even rollable displays, some of which have been shown while others were just patents, so I can't say I am shocked that Samsung is planning a bendable tablet.

Nevertheless, I also cannot say I expected to see a render of a foldable tablet, but that's what the picture above shows.

Leaked by MobileLeaks website, the image was accompanied by the schematics and even the intended specifications.

The 10.1-inch flexible AMOLED screen of 1920 x 1080 pixels hides a 1.6 GHz Exynos CPU, a 3 MP camera, 32 GB storage, 2 GB RAM, and an 8000 mAh battery.

There will even be a built-in stand. When the screen is bent, to allow the tablet to sit upright as it were, a plastic or metal slab (whatever the case happens to be made of) will stay rigid, holding the slate up.

Thanks go to Bart for the tip.
