Major carrier Sprint recently announced the availability of a new update for Samsung Epic4G Touch.

Even though users have already received the long awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade, it appears that Samsung and Sprint continue to offer maintenance updates.

Software version S:D710.10S.FH13, also known as FH13 promises to improve the battery life and that's about it. No bug fixes or new features have been added.

Unfortunately, those who already installed the update report that the phone's software is still plagued by the same issues that exist in previous FF18 update. The bad news is that even the battery life continues to be horrible, even update the update is applied.

The new software version is delivered OTA (over the air) in stages, so not all Samsung Epic 4G Touch owners will receive it at the same time.
