Samsung Electronics Romania announced today that the Samsung UltraTOUCH would become available for mobile phone users in the country through Vodafone and Orange, as well as through different retailers in the area. The full-touch slider brings along both style and high-end technology, as well as a wide range of multimedia capabilities to leverage the mobile experience.

According to JeongEon Kim, general manager at Samsung Electronics Romania, the new Samsung UltraTOUCH comes to mobile users as a handset meant to complement their personality. It adds to the already existing full-touch devices Samsung offers in the area, and can prove a flagship model in the touchscreen segment of the market.

The device comes to the shelves with a 2.8” AMOLED display with support for 16 million colors, which is also scratch resistant, a sliding keyboard, a 'silky back' design, along with an 8-megapixel photo snapper with dual power LED flash and video recording capabilities, not to mention the GPS functionality of the handset, which offers access to detailed maps, as well as geo-tagging features for the photos taken with the phone's camera.

The device includes an 80MB internal memory, as well as a microSDHC memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space.

The Samsung UltraTOUCH comes to the country through HAT Group Co. Romania, and will feature a price tag of around 1700 Lei (approximately $547), being sold through a wide range of retailers, including Vodafone and Orange stores. More information on the Samsung UltraTOUCH (also known as S8300) can be found on the mobile phone maker's website.
