Regardless if it's a simple feature-phone or a high-end smartphone, Germany and the UK are always among the first European countries to get a new Samsung device.

The latest on the list is the Samsung E2330 feature-phone, which has been spotted by the guys over at PortableGear on Samsung Germany's website.

The slider has been designed mainly for voice calls, as its battery has been rated by the manufacturer for up to 12.6 hours of talk time or 500 hours of standby time.

Samsung E2330 is an entry-level mobile phone, so users should not expect any fancy features.

The 2.0-inch QQVGA (128 x 160 pixels resolution) display is too small for any kind of browsing experience. Instead, the manufacturer is advertising the device as being perfect for social networking for some reason.

Furthermore, E2330 lacks even average connectivity features, as the phone only provides GPRS support, which is by far the worst solution for data transfers.

Fortunately, the slider comes with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, which makes file transfers easier for users.

Even though the 20 MB of internal memory might not be enough for those who wish to turn the device into an MP3 player, more storage space can be added (up to 8GB) thanks to the microSD card slot.

The sub-par VGA camera is capable of taking shots at up to 640 x 480 pixels resolution. It comes with digital zoom and video recording capabilities (128 x 96 pixels).

Those who wish to preserve the battery, but still want to be able to listen to the music, can take advantage of the FM Radio feature, which has become a standard for entry-level handsets.

Other interesting features that come embedded include Mobile Tracker and Fake Call, which allows users to simulate an incoming call when they want to get out of meetings or unwanted conversations.

There is no information regarding the launch date or price tag, but the feature-phone is expected to be available soon.
