The company claims that the previous report was 100% false

Having heard that Apple was switching chip orders from Samsung to TSMC, we weren't all that shocked to hear that another tie between Samsung and Apple had broken.

It turns out that said tie isn't actually breaking though. Samsung won't, in fact, stop shipping LCDs to Apple.

"Samsung Display has never tried to cut the supply for LCD panels to Apple," a company spokesman said, asking Korea Times to revise their story on account of it being “100 percent false.”

The reason cited by the publication for the breakup was the “huge price discount” that Apple purportedly got each panel for.

Also, while Samsung was, at one point, the only maker of “Retina” high-resolution iPad displays, this hasn't been the case for some time (Sharp and LG both make such panels now), so it looked like Apple would have alternatives if the tie with Samsung really broke.

Since it won't happen, this doesn't have to become an issue anymore.
