The DROID Charge is still popular among Android fans in the United States, which is why Samsung is working hard to deliver the latest updates meant to improve user's overall experience.

In this regard, the guys over at Droid-Life have just learned that the DROID Charge is about to receive the i510.FP5 software update.

It appears that the update's official changelog has been published by Verizon in late July, but carrier hurriedly pulled it for unknown reasons.

The reason behind Verizon's actions are still blurry, but we suspect the carrier wasn't ready to deliver the promised update, so it replaced the FP5 update changelog with the previous FP1's.

Today, the operator published the FP5 update official changelog once again, and it appears that this is similar to FP1's, which makes us believe that this is only a minor update that will fix several bugs.
