14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most anticipated smartphones in India, the Galaxy Grand 2, has finally received an official suggested retail price.
We have previously reported that the handset might go on sale for a price between Rs 22,999 ($370 / €270) and Rs 24,999 ($400 / €295) outright, but now we have confirmation that Samsung will sell the phone for the former amount.
The Galaxy Grand 2 has been listed on Samsung India page for quite a while now and customers could pre-book the smartphone for Rs 2,000 ($32 / €24), which would be deducted from the final price.
Today, the handset maker has ended Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 pre-bookings and has confirmed that the smartphone will soon be available for purchase for Rs 22,999 ($370 / €270) off contract.
Samsung India continues to list the Galaxy Grand 2, which, by the way, will only be available in white color option. Unfortunately, the company does not offer an exact release date for the device.
Still, customers interested in getting the Galaxy Grand 2 can register their email addresses to be notified when it becomes available.
As we have reported earlier this week, there’s a high chance that Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 will arrive on January 20. The smartphone is now up for sale on eBay India with a January 20 estimative ship date.
Take this with a grain of salt though, as there’s no telling when exactly the first Galaxy Grand 2 stocks will arrive in India.
Specs-wise, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 seems to be specifically built for the Indian market. It offers a high-quality design, dual-SIM support, large display and more than decent camera.
Moreover, the smartphone will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which is not that far from the latest version released by Google.
