Back in August, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics unveiled to the world its largest Android-based smartphone to date, the Galaxy Note II, and today it unveiled the first sales figures for the device.

The handset was put on shelves on September 27 for the first time, and over 3 million units have been sold in the first 30 days of availability, Samsung claims.

Some of the markets where Galaxy Note II is now available include South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Africa, China, and the United States (though it arrived in this country in late October). Samsung is looking to expand its availability around the world soon.

With a large 5.5-inch touchscreen display and a powerful quad-core processor inside, Galaxy Note II can provide users with a great experience while on the go, that’s for sure.
