14 DAY TRIAL // As the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has opened its doors, we might soon be seeing Samsung announce something in the Chromebook department.
US Online retailer BHPhotoVideo has started taking pre-orders for two new Samsung Chromebooks. There’s not much information about them, except they come in 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch flavors and they are being called Samsung Chromebook 2.
The 11.6-inch model will apparently be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos SoC and come with a choice between Black and White paint jobs. The Chromebook will sell for $299.99 / €218.
The 13.3-inch Samsung Chromebook 2 has 4GB of RAM and will be up for grabs for $399.99 / €291. Both models will feature the 16GB of internal storage option.
Back in December, there was a rumor circulating around the web saying Samsung was prepping a Chromebook with Exynos 5 Octa 5420 SoC, so maybe this is what we’re seeing here. I’ll update you, as more info surfaces on the matter.
